Who doesn’t LOVE Ms. Cara Delevingne… I mean, c’mon. She takes tomboy chic to a whole new level.
One minute she is walking the runway hand in hand with Karl Lagerfeld, and the next she’s court side at the Nets game sporting some Tims & a snapback, smoking an e-cig, and making out with Michelle Rodriguez ↚ ( woah, what? ya… that happened ). That may explain why she turned down an invite to Leo DeCaprio’s hotel room ↚ ( ya… that happened too ).
Anyhooooooo, I love her IDGAF attitude, but I love her style even more. Wanna snag queen Cara’s look… here’s what she wore…
So, there’s pretty much nothing I love more than a leather jacket! As soon as the weather cools off I pretty much live in mine. I like to pair it with leggings, sweats, skinnies, minis… you name it.
Though I do think a good leather jacket is a definite staple in any wardrobe, I do not think it’s necessary to drop a pretty penny on one. I mean, if you’re like me you’ll want to accumulate a variety of styles: moto, quilted, fitted, cropped… why break the bank on just one?
I’ll admit… I about died when I saw this little Marc Jacobs number. The mock collar, quilted details, asymmetric zip, I mean c’mon. It’s perf. The only thing I’m not crazy about is the price.
Don’t fret my pets… I found the most amazing steal. This H&M gem has got it all… + it’s only an itty bitty fraction of the price.
So, what do you babes think? Would you splurge on the real or save on the steal?!?
First of all… what’s up with the weather lately?!? I honestly can’t keep up. I actually really like the rain [and the sun too for that matter], so either way I’m pretty much good to go. I’m not one to get the blues when it’s gray outside; so the only thing truly affected by the weather are my outfit choices. For rainy days I typically opt for boots // skinnies // a vintage rocker T // + my trusty leather jacket. Here’s how I wore it.
Happy Friday!! I had a superproductive week and am beyond ready for the weekend. While “running errands” aka shopping with my girl Erica [of Fashionlushxxfame] we came across this enchanting flower shop / secret garden. Though it was closed, it was begging to be explored. Naturally, we saw this as the perfect opportunity for a photo shoot.
Oh ya, it wouldn’t be Fashion Friday without the low down on my duds…
